DEEMING'S BRAIN.

Melbourne, May 17. , Mr Lvle has petitioned the Governor to grant a respite for a week in Deeming's case, to enable an appeal to be made to the Privy Council. Mr Lyle informed ths Governor that the appeal had reached London on Friday last. Deeming is breaking down under the close confinement. Melbourne, May 18. The authorities have decided not to allow Deeming's brain to be examined, and it-will be buried with the body.
