London, May 8.
The Tory press mostly endorse Lord Salisbury's belief thab the autonomy of Ireland would involve civil war.
The " Chronicle " considers Lord Salisbury's speech a mass of hyperbole, and the most reckless address ever uttered by a responsible statesman. The "Daily News" tells the Premier that ho will be personally responsible should bloodshed follow encouragement he has given to Ulster.
