(BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, this day. A cablegram announces the death in London of Mr Galbraith, one of the earliest settlers. Mrs Eichardt, licensee of the hotel afc Queenstov/n, fell down stairs, _ receiving concussion of the brain. She is nob expected to recover. The Burns monument has been formally handed over to the city by Mr Robert Chapman. Complimentary addresses were delivered by Dr. Stut.rt, Messrs Cargill, Gray, Russell and others.
