A DRUNKEN QUARREL.
ESCAPE OF THE SUPPOSED MURDERERS.
Masterton, 3 p.m
Tho man Dalton, found murdered at Eketahuna. was a grass-seeder from Mangaono Valley.
He came in yesterday with two mates, and was drinking.
A quarrel took place aboub midnight, and Dalton was found about 8 o'clock wibh a wound several inches in length in his throat, and a stab in his back. Tho murderers have left the district. Tho inquost takes to-night.
