TE ARO RAILWAY EXTENSION.

Wellington , , this day. The Minister of Public Works this morning met the representatives of the City Council and Harbour Board with reference to tho extension of the railway to Te Aro. Matters were arranged satisfactorily and the Minister has given instructions for the lowest tender to be accepted, and the work proceeds without delay. The loweet tender for the Te Aro railway extension is that of Cronin. and McGrath the amount being £5,553.
