Small-Pox at Port Chalmers.

Port Chalmers, this day. Arrived : Umoviti, barque, from Mauritius. Dr. Drysdalo, health officer, refuses to _ive any information. Ib is reported on Bhoro that there aro cases of small-pox on board, and one seaman died while the vessel was towing into tho harbour.
Wellington, this day. The health officer at Port Chalmers wires that tho Umoviti has smallpox pn board.
One man is convalescent, and anothor died this morning.
The vessel has been ordered into quaran tine.
