Chkistchurch, this day. At the United Methodist District Meeting yesterday, the first reading of stations waa submitted as follows :—Addington, Rev. George Hounsell; Auckland, Rev. E. O. Perry; Christchurch, Rev. John Hosking; Malvern, no supply ; Napier and Waipawa, Rev. Charles Penny Griffin ; Oxford, Rev. J. Helming ; Rangiora, H. B. Redstone; Ileefton, Rev. John Edwards ; Richmond, Rev. J. Saunder; Wellington, Rev. A. Peters ; Westport, Rev. James Wrigley ; Woodville, Rev. J. W. Warboys. Tha. Rev. J. Giffeii was received on his tirst year of probabion, subjecb to passing the usual examination. The following wereelected to act as a district committee for. the ensuing year :—Revs. G. Hounsell, John Hosking, H. B. Redstone, O. Macfarlano. Messrs J. T. Brown, C. R. Leadley, A. Flesher, T. Cutter, J. S. Cooke, with district officers. A number of poisons at Carterton signed a petition to be received as a circuit! in connection with tho United Methodist) Free Churches. The request was granted.
