A very pleasant game was played on Thursday at the Domain between H.M.s. Tauranga and the New Zealand Artillery, which resulted in a win for H.M.s. Tauranga by 160 runs. Tho former Eleven was most hospitably entertained at luncheon by Colonel Goring and the New Zealand Artillery.

The Star in their first innings got 43, Wilson being the only double-figure man with 15. The Auckland 11. pub together in the first innings 6S, Harkness 19, Cuff 10, Smith 10, O'Keefe 10 (not out) being chief scorers. For tho latter, the vicecaptain and Beale started the batting, and with such good effect that 50 runs wero obtained before the former was caught for a well-played 27. Robinson, Turbett and McLeod were all caught by the wicketkeeper (Donovan), and after having mndo 34, Beale was bowled by Vince. McSweeney stayed some time, and mado 0, the innings closing . for 70.
