NORTHERN S.S. CO.'S MOVEMENTS.

Tuesday.—Wellington leaves for Whangaroi, Marsdon Point, Mangapai, and Parua Bay at 10.30 p.m. ; lona arrives from Mercury Bay and Kuaotunn, and leaves for Great Barrier at 11 p.m. ; Chelmsford leaves for Whangamata, Tauranga and Whakatane at 9 a.m.

Wednesday.—lona arrives from Great Barrier ; Gait-loch from Waitara ; Glenelg from Opunako and Wanganui ; Gairloch leaves for Raglan at G p.m.

Thursday. — Glenelg leaves for Now Plymouth at 1 p.m. ; lona loaves for 2_uaotunu and Mercury Bay at 9 p.m. ; Gairloch arrives from Raglan.

Friday.—Clansman arrives from Russell early and leaves for Tauranga at 7 p.m. ; Wellington leaves for Whangarei and Marsden Point at 10.30 p.m. ; Gairloch leaves for Hokianga at 1 p.m.

Thames Service.—Rotomahanaor Argylo leaves for Thames daily, and s.s. Oiiinomuri leaves for Paeroa twice weekly.

The schooner Louie has cleared for Lyttelton via Thames.

The schooner Queen left Hokianga for Onehunga yesterday.

The barque Ardle arrived at Newcastle from Auckland yesterday.

The brigantine Stanley goes heneo to Kaipara to load sawn timber for Sydney.

H.M.s. Tauranga, which left port yesterday for gun practice, returned this morning.

The s.s. Australia arrived from East Coast ports last evening with cargo, ox lonic from London, and general cargo.

The ship Columba sailed for London at an early hour this morning, and was followed out of port by a largo number of smaller craft bound for various destinations.

Messrs Arnold, Cheney and Company, local agents, received a telegram this morning announcing tho arrival at Dunedin of the American barque Elinor Vernon from New York, with general cargo for New Zealand ports.
