Tho s.s. Gairloch arrived from Waitara on Saturday evening with stock and passengers.
The s.s. Takapuna arrived from Lyttelton and intermediate porta via West Coast at 11.15 p.m. on Saturday.
The n.s. Clansman arrived from Tauranga on Sunday morning, and the s.s. lona from Mercury Bay and Kuaotunu on Saturday night.
The whaling schooner Christine, Capt. J McLiver, leaves Russell to-morrow in continuation of her whaling cruise to the Kermadecs.
The schooner Clansman arrived from Fiji early on Sunday morning, with copra. She lefD Suva on the Bth inst., and had a fineweather passage.
The Union Company's s.s. Ovalau re-tu-red from Fiji at 11 a.m. on Sunday. SliV left Suva ab 2 p.m. on the 12th and }-ad strong head winds and heavy sea till the evening of the Mbh, thence to arrival fine weather prevailed.
