Dairy cows near calving or in full milk were bettor worth ; prices ranged from £4 15s to £6 10s each. Fat cattle plentiful, and many withdrawn ; prices irregular, Steers ranged from 17s to 19s ; cows, 12s to 15s the 1001b ; 223 sold. Sheep and lambs yarded in full numbers; 1,418 sold; last week's values fuily sustained. Fat wethers ranged from 13s Gel to 16s 9d; ewes., lis 9d to 13s 9d ; aged store ewes, 4s 6d to 63; store twotooth wethers, 8s 3d to 123 6d; lambs, in full number ; 362 sold ; kept late values. Well-fatted lambs brought from 9s to 13s 6d ; inferior, from 63 to 8s 6d each. Pieta, in limited supply, were at late values.

Messhs Huntee and Nolan report that cattle havo been brought forward in increased numbers ; t.lO demand Las been steady for all descriptions without any material alteration in value ; average numIje... were disposed of by auction at NewHiarl--- on Tuesday, and Pukokobo on Wednesday. Fat beasts barely maintained the previous week's values, ranging from 273 to 19s per 1001b. Some averages of fat steers were : £8 17s 6d, £7 2s, £6 19s, £6 15s, £5 17s 4d. £5 5s ; cows, £4 17- 6d, £4 10s, £4 12s 6d, £3 10s, £3 ss. Sheep v. aro penned in limited numbers at Newmarket on Tuesday, and were keenly competed for ; wethers sold at from I3s to 16s 9d ; owes, 9s to 12s ; lambs, 7s to lis 9(1. Pigs continue scarce and in demand ab from 2d to 2-Jd p.-v.lb live weight.
