James Henry Bull, assistant master ot the Gisborne School for the past 12 years, was chosen by the School Committee for. the appointment as Headmaster of" tha school, out of 7 candidates forwarded M the Board, namely C. R- Bossenoe (Pow Chalmers), Bull (Gisborne), H. Dempsey (New Plymouth), J. N. Dodd (Kaikorai), H. J. Morton (Woodville), J. A. SmiW Hastings) andD. A. Sturrock (Napier).
