"INTERVIEW WITH CAPTAIN
YOUNGHUSBAND.
London, December 30. In an interview with the correspondent of the Globe, Captain Younghusband stated that the residents of the -Pamirs consisted s£ a. hundred families, and preferred Chinese rule. : At the same time, they were friendly disposed towards England, and the Russians had not displayed a hostile spirit.
