IMPERIAL FEDERATION.
A CANADIAN VIEW.
New York, December 27. Hon. W. Laurier, of Canada, speaking at a banquet in Bostdfl, objected to Imperial Federation, and thought the policy propounded by the Empire Trade League absurd. He asserted that the destiny of all the colonies was to beGome free, and Canada, when the time arrived, would separate from Great Britain. He also declared that Canada tfotild persist in the right to make her own commercial treaties.
