OUR GOLDFIELDS.

Thames, this day. Saxon. — The manager to-day banked 30()oz gold as the result of a crushing of 406 loads quartz and 651b picked stone during the past fortnight.
Alburnia.—Another breaking down of the new reef in the south drive took place to-day. Gold was seen even more freely than before, and 61b of nice picked stone was saved. The reef looks splendid and the manager is sanguine of unearthing a patch.
The mines close down to-morrow night for periods ranging from three to *en days.
Albtjrnia.—The reef cut yesterday afternoon in the south drive at the Whau level is twelve inches thick and shows dabs ofgold very freely. The country is a splendid class of sandstone. This mine should come to the front after the holidays.
Moanataiari.—The fortnightly cleaningup to day produced 1460z gold from 322 ton 9 quartz and 401b picked stone.
