PROTECTION AGAINST STRIKES.
London, December 11.
The Eastern shipping companies are becoming alarmed at the Peninsular and Oriental Company inserting in the bill of lading clauses fortifying itself against loss on account of delays occasioned .by strikes and other combinations ashore and afloat.
