VISIT FROM BISHOP COWIE.
DEPUTATION FROM THE MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION.
Bishop Cowie called on General Booth this morning, and paid his respects. A deputation from the Ministers' Association, the Rev. MrMonro and the Rev. Mr Norrie, also waited on the General. They welcomed him to New Zealand in the name ot the Association. They also congratulated him on the work - ing of the Salvation. Army, and the success of its mission in the colony. They spoke of the gratification of the visit caused them, and wished bhe General hearty God-speed. At nine o'clock to-morrow morning, the General will hold a select conversazione to discuss conversationally the "Darkest England " scheme. The General will answer all questions. He wishes feo be understood before he is condemned.
