THE HAKARU EXHUMATION.
Inspector Bkoham received a telegram this that the case against Thomas and wife, at Hakaru, for alleged ill-treatment of a child, bad not yet concluded. The accused has yet to give evidence, and the case will be probably closed thi3 afternoon. Later.—Thoma3 was committed for trial for manslaughter, and his wife was discharged.
