Total declared value of cargo, £21,900. The s.s. Manapouri lefb Sydney yesterday for Auckland. The barque Himalaya hauled out into the stream this morning, in readiness to sail for Timaru with part cargo from London. The barque George Manson, from Newcastle to San Francisco, which was spoken by the Jubilee on Saturday dismasted, has returned to Sydney safely. The next steamer of the New Zealand Shipping Company's line to arrive here from London will be the s.s. Duke of Buckingham, of the Chartered Duke fleet. She is due aboub the 20th inst., with part cargo, and will load some outward freight here. The s.s. Ovalau with passengers and periodicals ex R.M.s. Kaikoura from London arrived at 8 a.m. bo-day from Wellington. She leaves for Fiji on Sunday. Passengers :—Mr and Mrs Harrison, Misses Harrison (2), Mr Holloway, 15 steerage. For Suva : Saloon, Mr E. A. Sleigh.
