All contributions must be original, nob previously published, and written legibly on one side of the paper. 3. Communications must reach the Star Office not later than Ist November, and must in every case be accompanied by the name and addreee of the sender, which should be enclosed in separate sealed' envelope, marked outside with a motto corresponding with the norn de plume attached to the competition article. 4. Competitors are requested to address their contributions "Christmas Competition (No. 1, 2, or 3, as the case may be), Star Oflice, Auckland." 5. The Proprietor of the Star shall have tho right of publishing any of the contributions sent in, whether awarded a prize or not. 6.
