SUDDEN DEATHS.
Relative to the death of Davidson, reported by us yesterday, ourThameß correspondent wires: A telegram was received to-day by Sergeant Gillies from Constable Joyce, of Tairua, stating thab a gumdiggor named John Davidson had been found dead in bia whare ab Nevesvill, and suggesting that an inquest should be held. The District Coroner (Mr Haselden) was accordingly communicated with, but as he was unable to make the journey to Nevesvill, ib was arranged thab Mr Douglas, J.P., should hold a coronial inquiry, w and he will leave here to-ciay.

Wellington, bhis day. A hotel hand, named John Fitzgerald, employed at bhe Central Hotel, Hutt, died suddenly last night.
