. London, September 7. Half a million of soldiers are quartered on the Polish and western frontiers of Russia. The Bulgarians are alarmed at the demand of the Russian press for intervention in Bulgaria by force. The " Standard " urges that England should not evacuate Egypt in the face of Turkish submission to Russia. The " Daily Chronicle " correspondent at Rome says the Italian Government has instructed its Ambassador at Constantinople to support England. Tbe Italian press hope a vigilant watch will be kept over Russian intrigues in the East. A Russian loan of 600,000,000 francs sterling) has been arranged in France.
The Credit Lyonnaise will } in October, offer a Russian 3 per cent, loan of twenty millions sterling at 84. i.y;;- , London, September 8. The Marquis of Salisbury declares that Russia has an exclusive right to the Dardanelles. It is considered unlikely that Germany or Austria will inoye in the matter.
