IN MEMORIAM.
CLARKE.—In fond and loving-ramombrancoof my dear father, James Clarke, wno died at Auckland. N.Z., on June 19. 1890. "Sweet Jesus, have mercy on his soul!" The face we loved it now lip low, Tho I'ond, true heart is still ; The hand that often clasped in ours Lies now in Death's cold chill. Inserted by his affectionato son, J. Clarke, jun., o£ Sydney, N.S.W. KIRK.—In loving memory of Emily Kirk, who departed this life June 20,1890. She sleeps in Jesus ! Calm repose! No burnimr tears hei- eyelids clo3e ; Xo aching mind ; no fover'd brow— fc'he sweety rests in Jesus now ! She has passed through the furnace : come forth pure as gold. The last warm tear is wiped away. And now she dwells in endless day : Thankful for all her tviala past. That made her meet for heaven at last. Oh, how we miss that loved one here. Whom in our hearts we held so-dear : While memory dwells on days gone by, f And our full hearts now heave the sigh. Inserted by her loving Elizabeth Eiiilt Edwards. RAMUS.— In loving remembrance of my dear mother, X Ramus, who departed this life June 20,1852. Nine sad years have passed to-day Since my dear mother passed away. The thought still lingers round my heart, It was God's will that we should part. Inserted by her loving daughter.
