London', June 11. The Bank of England returns published to-day show bhe total reserve in notes and bullion to be £18,758,000, being an increase of £1,099,000 as compared with the previous week. The proportion of the reserve to the liabilities is -16 per cent. Consols aro 95. Three mouths' bills are discounted at 2 J per cent. ij New Zealand 4 per cenb. inscribed s'.ock is 102 ; ditto, 34, 93£. New Zealand lonsr-berried wheat is 433 6d. The markeb is weaker. For New Zealand wheat on passage sellers are asking 425, but buyers will nob give more than 41s .6d. Canberbury mutbon is 4fd : Wellington, 4d ; Canberbury lamb, s}d ; New Zealand beef, forequarbers, 3_d; hindquarters, 4fd. " ' 1 Sew Zealand hemp, fair quality, .£2O. The markeb is firmer. ■ , J Victorian wheat is quoted at 435. '.The market is weaker. South Australian wheat is 445. The market is weaker. Sugar : Best German, 13s 3d ; Java", 15s nominal. The wool markeb is active. Prices at the sales are very firm. Three thousand bales a", sheepskins wer6 offered to-day, and most of them were sold at prices equal to those ruling ab last series.
