London, April 23.
At the wool sales good greasy merinos realised from 5 to 7i porcont., and good scoured from 7h to 10 por cent, above tho rates obtained at the February series. All poor merinos show a decline of 5 per cont. as compared with tho February rates, while crossbrods remain at par with the host February prices, except for coarser qualities, especially those from JNew Zealand, which sull poorly. Foreigners are purchasing freely, and have taken 55 por cont. of tho quantity sold. Tiio greatest difficulty is experienced in providing cold storage for Now Zealand frozen mutton, owing to tho enormous stocks on hand,
