SENTENCED TO DEATH.
Sydney, April 24,
Two lads named Deakin, aged fifteen and ten years respectively, were placed on trial to-day charged with the murder ot an old man at Golgol. They shot their victim while he was lying in bed. The motive for the crime is said to have been spite.
The younger boy turned Queen's evidence and the elder one was sentenced to death.
