The "Tβ Aroha News " haß received a letter from Mr J. L. Bagnall in which he says that he gave no authority to anyone to state that he was ia probable candidate for the Te Aroha seat in the House of Representatives. On the contrary, he says that he has no desire to contest the seat at the approaching election, and he hopes that a good local candidate will be brought out, in which case he (Mr Bagnall) will be prepared to give him all the support he can. — Waikafco Correspondent.
