Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly RβFORT. —Horse feed, grain, seeds, etc. : There ims not been very much doinjr, and little or no alteration in value. Holders have been desirous ot clearing lines of cockst'oot, and several sales have been effected. We quote : Oats, 2s to 2s 2d per bushel; mai/.e, 2s 10d ; wheat, 5s 6d to4s6d; oaten chail', £2 10s to £2 15s per ton; bran. £4 per ton. Horses : liather a largo number were brought forward. The demand for those of a good stamp was brisk, hilt weeds were comparatively neglected. Above an average number were submitted by auction at the. Durham Yards on Friday. Competition was brisk for the best lots, but slow for those o£ an inferior stamp. We quote: Hacks, at from i-A li's to S.X2 each; medium draught and light harness horses, from £510s to£l3 7s6d. "Wool, hide:-, skins, tallow, bones, etc. : Bather largo quantities have been brought forward, ana an improved demand has existed. Mkssrs Alfred Buckland and Sons' Report.—At tbe Hayinarkot. during the past week, choice meadow hay realised 3s 3d; ordinary, Cd to 2s the cwt; oat?, i 3 5d to 2a 2<l: lnsiize, 2i310d ; ryo grass, 5s to 6s 6d ; cocksfoot. 5s 6d to 7s tho bushel; chair. £2 10s; potatoes. £1 17a 6d ; boncflour. £6 10s the ton. On Friday, the horse market was fully supplied, but many ci! those sold were of an indifferent class. Those ranged from 30s to £3. Strong useful horses were in demand: prices for these rangort from £14 to £20; medium and uuc'i horses, from £7 to :Cl2 each. Sheep, yarded in full number, were lower in price about Is each; about 300 withdrawn; 1,100 sold. Prime stout ox sold up to 5Jd ; heavy stout, 4»d to ijjd ; heavy, 3id to 4ti; medium and liptht, 2Jd to 3d; heavy cow, 2'd to 3d ; average lines, 2d to 2|d ; kip, 2'd to 3d; calf, 4jd; local green ox sold from 22s 6d to 40s each; stags, lid; damaeed. Ad to Id per Ib. Sheepskins advanced in value, and sola freely throughout. Local longwools sold up to 3s SJ, butchers' averaging Oa: crossbreds, 2s 90. ; country, salted, 2s 3d to 2s 9d tor l:irKO, Is 6d to 2s for medium sizee. Lambs are now at same values as sheepskins. Tallow: No change to report. Wool: Small lots jneet ready sale from 5Jd to 6|d for rough crossbreds.
