CROWN LANDS SALE.
A sale of Crown lands was hold this morning. There was i\ poor attendance, and a numberof lots were passed in. MrEtberidgo, chief clerk, acted as auetioneor. Section 156, Ocamatea County, Parish of Omaru, comprising 189 acres 2 roods, was bought by Mr Smith at the upset price of £236 17s 6d. The other sales were :—Waiteunata County, Pariah of Paremoremo: Section 142, 29 acres 3 roods 24 poles, £15, Mr L. Stongie. Town of Cambridge East: Section 358, 3 roods 13 poles, £30, Wingate, Burns and Co. Suburbs of Greerton : Soction 246, 6 acres 3 roods 34 poles, £20 17e, William Earl (Tauranga). Hokianga county. Pari»h of Pupuke : Section S.W. p.n. 125, 40 acres 2 roods, £97 10s, Frater Broa. All of the lots sold were ab the upeot price.
