THE RYNO'S CRUISE.
After a period of five months' cruising in the South Seas, the smart little brigantine Kyno, 85 tons, Captain .Tribe, of Auckland, is back in this port, having returned early this morning from Samoa, via Wallie Island and Sophia Island, with a part cargo of guano. Since leaving here in November last for the Islands, the Ryno has done a great deal of cruising amongst Messn Arundel and Co.'s guano stations, carrying despatches, stores, kanaka labourers, etc. On sailing hence on November Bth, the brigantine called in at Nine (Savage Island), thence to Samoa, Howland Island, back to Samoa, and then ▼isited Staarbuck Island, Flint Island, Caroline Island, Tahiti, Nassau Island, and back to Apia. Leaving Samoa again on the 24th, Capt. Tribe sailed for Wallie Island, landed some stores, and went thence to Sophia Island near the Tokelau on Union Group, where he landed come guano for Auckland. He sailed on the 2nd inst., and had a fine-weather trip down. Fine weather was generally met with in the Islands. The Ryno may sail on another cruise shortly.
