BALLARAT TRADES CONGRESS AND THE SHEARERS.
ftIIiUIOUKNE, April 22.
The Trades Congress, which opened at Ballarat today, passed 0. resolution expressing sympathy with the Queensland shearers on strike, and also one pledging them financial support. A motion to invite Sir George Grey to attend the sitting was carried with great enthusiasm.
