Kauri Gem.-The local gum market is still very weak, and in all except East Coast gum, is stagnant. Owing to the absence of buyers low prices are still maintained. At present there are very heavy stocks on hand, and quotations are very unsettled. Wβ quote—Ordinary parcels, fair to medium, £34 to £35; superior. £38; East Coast, £56. Supplies for month to date are about 490 tons, and from mail to mail 625 tons.
