Mr F. O. Licht, the sugar export, estimates that the seven months' beet production will show an increase of 16,000 tons, and that the new campaign will givo a surplus of 70,000 tons. A consignment of apples, ex R.M.s. Arawa from New Zealand, is selling at from 10s to 20s per case. New Zealand rabbib skins, fair bo good qualiby, are Is Bd. The wool markeb conbinuos firm. New Zealand heavy merinos are choaper.
