London, April 21,
Mr H. Mathews, Home Secretary, has refused to grant the petition of the London and Dublin Trade and Labour Councils for the remission of the sentence of six weeks' imprisonment passed on Wilson, Secretary of the Seamen's Union, for inciting the Cardiff strikers to riot.
