SCHOOL COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS.

The following additional nominations have been received for the various school committees in the Auckland district: —

;.- Hamilton West.—There were only seven householders nominatod, so that at tbe annual meetingon Monday nexb there will be no voting necessary. The gentlemen nominated are Messrs Robert Bradley, George Edgecumbe, J. R. E. Hatrick, James Hume, John Kifox, John Parr, and R. F. Sandes. These gentlemen comprise the old committee, with the exception that Mr Hatrick takes Mr Cox's place.

Hamilton East.—The following nominations were received :—Messrs William Dey, John Steadman, William Allen. Charles Smith, Henry Tristram, James D. Melville, and W. F. Bell. The first rive were on the old committee, and Messrs Melville and Ball replace Messrs •Coates and Davey. As the number nominated does not exceed the number required, no election will be necessary at the annual meeting of householders. Point Cuevalier. — The following ten candidates have been nominated : — Messrs Crawford, Earnes, Fowldß, Sellers, Culpan, Hoskin, Knight, DuxSeld, Walker, and Thwaites. Feeling runs very high in this district, where six members of the old Committee resigned some time back in consequence of a disagreement with the Chairman, Mr Thwaites. Much interest is consequently expected to be taken in the election. Mount Albert. — The following have been nominated members of the Mount Albert Committee:—William H. Martin, ;Samuel Finch, James L. Sinclair, Alfred 'Tyer, James Miller, William Treney, Thomas Batterby, Albert Morcor. A poll will.bei required to elect seven out of the Bight rjahdidates nominated. , : ' m '"Pons6nby.—The names of Stephen" E. Hughes should be substituted for William Thprna. «-9.<J John Patterson for William Leys in the list previously published, in which the names of two nominators were .published by mistake. Nokthcote.—ln this district only five candidates were nominated, viz., Messrs Barber, Cook, Jones, Loftus and Low. Seven being required, two otljors will be .elected by a rneetine of householders on Monday evening next. Remueba.—The following have been nominated : — William Allcock, William Dinnison, John Russell Gray, William MoCuilough, Wm. Johnston Parker, Ralph Pickmere, John McEffer Shera.
