DISPERSAL OF THE MIDDLE PARIS STUD.

The Middle Park Stud was sold to-day by Messrs Pyno and Co. The sale was a success, tho 45 lots to be sold realising 5,715 guineas, bub as the foals by the mothers' side were sold separately, the average was really very much better. Mossrs D. S. Wallace and A. R. Blackwood, tho well-known Australians, wore represented, while Mossrs Golkin, Ormond, Philson (representing an Auckland buyer), Stead, and Allan were purchasers. Tho yearling colb by Sb. George—Fair Nell gave rise to some spirited competition, and after Mossrs Allan (of Timuru), Gollan, and Stead had engaged in a triangular duel for his possession, the colb fell to Mr Allan's bid ab 550 guineas.
