RIGHT OF PUBLIC MEETING
BAYONETS AND KNIVES
London, April 14. The riot of mill hands at Bradford was a serious affair and lasted for. many hours. The question on which the disturbance took place was the right to hold a public meeting. The soldiers used their bayonets and the police charged, wounding many people and arresting twenty of the crowd.
Open knives were thrown at the police.
