PRINTERS' STRIKE.

Hamilton, this day. A strike on a small scale came off on Monday at the "Waikato Times" printing office, when five out of eight comps. refused duty unless they were guaranteed higher pay and less hours of work. The proprietor refused point blank to agree to their terms, and so all turned out. In spite of this the paper was got out and published in due course, and nothing was known by the general public of any difference between men and master. Arrangements have been made to procure plenty of labour, and the ptrikers will not get a'chance of again returning to work,
