GREYMOUTH AND WESTPORT HARBOUR DIFFICULTY.

Wellington, this day. The Government have replied tothe deputation, re the Greymouth and Westporb harbours, that they wjll withdraw three officials from bhe Board's and replace them by members nominated by the Government. This will have the effect of throwing the proceedings open to the public. When Parliament meets further proposals will probably be submitted.
