Our cyclists do not intend to leb the grass grow under their whsels before doing something to gain greater proficiency in their favourite, exercise. A meeting is called for to-morrow evening at Waters' to consider the advisability and possibility ot getting a good training track. The first monthly meeting of the Auckland Liberal Association is announced lor this evening ab Robson's Rooms, Queenstreet. Special business will be brougnt forward, and all electors are invited to attend. The 8.8.- Waitoa is announced to run a special trip down to Wairoa South on Thursday next on the occasion of the Whitford Park Race Meet- : inc. She leaves the Queen-street Wharf ab 9 a.m., and arrives ab the Wairoa in time to allow of a visit to the ostrich farm.
