Try Fluke.—The manager reports that! the 2760z 15dyvt ot retorted gold was from. 106 tons of o.e taken out of the rise, stopesand drive in tho south end of the drive. Up to date 70 feet has been driven on the new run of ore, and the reef still maintains ,itß promising appearance. In the a topes the reef varies from four to six feet through. There are also three stopes in progress north of the rise. The reef there is'froca four to five feet through, and is also being crushed. Carbine.—The manager reports' that there is still a fair show of gold in the drive going north, and it is possible that it will continue. In the face south the stone looks promising and yields a little gold, and more driving will be "required to show whether the reef has run out in that direction. In No. 3 tunnel the'body of stone is increasing in size and carrying gold. Moanataiari. — The manager reports that he has holed through from the rise in 200 ft level to the 100 ft level. The reef proved to be identical with the one in the winze. There is a lead striking off from the main reef eastward, which may prove to be the Reuben Parr branch of the main reef not yet got at the 2Coffc level. Gold ia pretty freely seen both in the lead and the main reef, but nob gorid enough to be selected as picked stone. At the 100 ft level the cross reef has not been looking quite as well for the past few days. On Saturday a drive was commenced west on the first vertical lead. There is a fine body of stone here carrying a little gold. The flat lead seems to have made its way out through the cross reef. During the weak about 401b of picked stone have been obtained from the flat lead and the fourth stope on footwail lode. In the north drive east much better ground has been met with. The amalgam on hand for the week is 2300z. Hazkleank.—The manager roports that gold has been seen more freely through the quartz this week. The reef is 18 inches thick.
