THE ZAMBESI DISPUTE.
GERMANY SUPPORTS ENGLAND.
London, January 27. The Marquis of Salisbury states that the Portuguese Government will submit for the consideration of the Cortes, the basis of the new convention respecting Zambesi and the Shire districts before the negotiations are completed.
The German Government intend to place a gunboat on the Zambesi, and to give moral support to England.
