Opua, this day.—The Mararoa arrived at 6 a.m. and sails about 3 p.m.
DuNEDiN, this day.—A magisterial inquiry was held to-day into the steamer Ohau lightly striking a whale rock off Cape Brett on the 18th of November. The evidence was not conclusive as to the position of the buoy, and the inquiry adjourned till the 4th of February. Captain Brewer's certificate was returned in the meantime.
Timaru, thia day.—Sailed : Highland Glen, Dawson, for London, with 4,427 bales wool, 672 bales flax, 127 casks tallow, 1,270 sacks oats. Passenger :J. V. Lovogrove. Melbourne, this day.—Arrived : S.s. Manapouri, from the Bluff.
