Income Tax,—There is not an income tax iv Now Zealand at present. Tho property tax, by making ft lovy upon every source of income, operates as an income tax. John J.—A lease may be made for any period. "Either of tho parties to tbe . agreement may draft ths necessary dooumont, which should afterwards be taken to the Stamp Office to havo the requisite stamps affixed. If tho lease relates to an important property it would bo prudent to employ legal assistance.
