FIRE AT TIMARU.

Timaett, this day. At 2.30 a.m. a fire occurred in a row of foursmall shopa next the Ship Hotel; and destroyed three, viz., Murdoch, painter; Shields, tobacconist; and Clancy, shoemaker. The four shops were insured for £300, Murdoch and Shields for. £100 each, and all in the National. Murdoch loses £100 besides, and Clancy, who is uninsured, £25.
