DROWNING AT DUNEDIN.

Dvnedin, this day. The body of James Wilson was found in the harbour on Sunday afternoon. He has been lately employed at Sparrow's foundry, and was snpposed to have gone to Sydney three weeks ago. fie was aged 35, and leaves a wife and family in Wellington. He was supposed to have fallen overboard while boarding alongside the wharf, as the body is believed to have been entangled in the woodwork since deceased was missed. At the inquest a verdict of ' * Found drowned " was returntd. The evidence showed that deceased was an engine driver by trade, and had been in Dunedin for about six months, working part of the time at the foundry. He had a wife and family in Wei ling ton, and had been arrested some time ago for deserting them. He had shipped on board the Wairarapa, and it is supposed that when going on board three weeks ago he fell into the water. As he had very few frienda here, he was not missed.
