There was nothing particularly striking in the work done at Riccarton this morning. Dudu did solid work over aboub the Cup distance. Sb. Andrew had the bosb of Aronoel in a strong once round. Wolverine did a strong mile and three quarters. Whisper did a fair two miles. Freedom moved as well as anything over a milo and a-quarter. Occident and Kotuku did an easy task, and Sbrephon sti-ode along evenly and well alone oyer two circuits of tho plough. Crackshob galloped a mile and a : quartor, and Bay King and Heatherbell wero ne use to him over the lasb seven furlongs. The weather is threatening. Largo numbers of visitors aro arriving from all parts of the colony. There was a good attendance of Now Zealand sports on the course this morning.
