Thomas Quoi, nf Queen-sbreeb, restaurant keeper, on Saburday lasb filed a petition to be adjudged a bankrupt.
Dr. MacGregor, Inspector of Asylums and Hospitals, arrived in bown to-day from bhe Waikabo. He visited the Hospital this morning, and also the " Whau exiles," still in tbe Prison Gate Brigade Station. Dr. .'MacGregor attends the meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board this afternoon, when there will probably be some discussion about the dispute oyer the poor old men. To-morrow he leaves for Wellington by the West Coast.
