THE R.M.S. ZEALANDIA.

Rather sooner than was expected the 0. Steamship Company's mail steamer Zealandia arrived in port here at 6.30 a.m. to-day with mails, passengers, and cargo from San Francisco via Honolulu and Tutuila. Her total time across the Pacific on this occasion ia 20 days 16 hours. She brought for Auckland a good number of passengers, including Wirbh Bros.' Wild West Show troope for exhibition in this colony,.and has for Sydney upwards of 80 passengers. She discharged 84 tons of general American cargo here to day, and has for Sydney some 957 tons. Her officer, remain :—Captain K. Van Oterendorp, commander; T. K. James, chief steward ; J. Rennie, chief officer ; S, N. Haines, chief engineer; H. Laidlaw, doctor; H. McLane, purser. On this trip the Zealandia has had a favourable run down to Auckland, though one or two days' bad weather was experienced. Leaving San Francisco on the 23rd ult. ab 2 p.m., she arrived at Honolulu on the 30bh ab 10.20 a.m., sailed again ab 6.42 p.m. same day, touched off Tutuila Island at 5.20 a.m. on the 7bh inst., and sailed again after half-an-hour's stay. On the 9th insb. she passed the R.M.s. Mariposa ab 9 a.m., bound North from Auckland. The steamer's weather abstracb reads :— "Augusb 23rd and 24th, Btrong north-west wind and heavy swell; Augusb 25th bo September 6th, moderate norbh-east trades, fine weather ; September 7th to Bth, moderate easterly wind, tine weather; September 9th and 10th, strong easterly galos and heavy sea; September 11th to port, lighb westerly wind and heavy swell." The Zealandia leaves for Sydney ab 6 a.m. to-morrow.
