TRADES AND LABOUR COUNCIL.
Ab a meeting of bhe Auckland Trades and Labour , Council on Thursday evening, letters were received from Mr F. Edwards (photographer) and Mr R. Eagleton (hairdresser, etc.) denying that they assisted in unloading vessels during the presenb strikes, also from a merchant ab Onehunga enclosing cheque for £5, with promise of another £5, for strike fund. Ib was decided to appoinb a commibtee bo acb ab once to see that every tradesman is placed on the electoral roll. A telegram was also sent to "Mr Moss, protesting against tho unjust treatment of members of the Railway Executive Society, and requesting him to bring the matber before the House.
